Nokia Navigator launched

Bangalore: Cell phone maker Nokia said Monday it launched the Nokia 6210 Navigator, a GPS-enabled mobile phone with an integrated in-map compass for pedestrian guidance.

The phone comes with Nokia Maps 2.0 and offers real-time voice and visual guidance using in-built GPS support, the company said. Maps of eight cities including Delhi and NCR, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad are pre-installed, the company added.

Maps of additional Indian cities will be added on an on-going basis, Nokia said. Navigation licence for six months would be provided free with the phone, the company added.

Devinder Kishore, Director, Marketing, Nokia India, said the company was looking to provide more Internet services on its devices.
