The all new high-end Blackberry 9000 is finally out, dubbed as Blackberry Bold. It has a large TFT display with the same half-VGA resolution as the Apple iPhone’s - 480 x 320 pixels. This device is equiped with a new full QWERTY keyboard and is powered by the latest Blackberry OS 4.6. Blackberry 9000 is run on a 624MHz processor and 1GB of on-board storage. A microSD memory card slot with full support for 8GB microSDHC cards and a promise for 16GB support(one such large capacity cards become market available) is provided for extra storage.
In addition, this device is now a tri-band HSDPA smartphone besides the quad-band GSM/EDGE one, and has an integrated GPS receiver and Wi-Fi.
